Kwai Chai Hong

Free Entry

Project Kwai Chai Hong by Bai Chuan Management features the restoration of the façade of 10 shop houses and a laneway in between Lorong Panggung and Jalan Petaling. These rejuvenation efforts done to the 2 stretches of heritage shophouses have made Kwai Chai Hong a must visit in KL Chinatown. The laneway is filled with murals painted by 5 local artists, depicting the old Petaling Street’s occupants in the 1960’s era. What is interesting about these murals is the QR codes that brings the audience through an immersive and artistic experience of going back in time through sight and sound. Kwai Chai Hong connects 10 different shop houses which consists of Bars, Restaurants, and Cafes.
