Overview

This museum is made up of three distinct galleries. The first gallery displays the predecessors to the current modern police force, dating back to the time of the pre-colonial Melaccan Sultanate. The second gallery tracks the evolution of the modern police force from the time of its establishment during the British colonial era. The third gallery features specific sections including the communist insurgency, the developments in crime-fighting methods through the ages and some notorious Malaysian criminals.
